Order Number Settings define how each kiosk order gets labeled so your team can call out or track orders for both dine-in and to-go customers. You can set these separately for Dine-In and To-go orders in the Merchant Console. This guide walks you through it.
Step-by-step
- Log in to the Merchant Console.
- Open your kiosk settings. From the left-hand navigation menu, go to Device & Apps → Kiosk, then select the location you want to edit.
- Go to the Checkout Flow tab. At the top of the page, select the Checkout Flow tab and scroll to Step 2: Order Number Settings.
- Choose Dine-In or To-go. Under the Dine-In Orders or To-go Orders card, click Edit to change how that order type is numbered.
- Select a numbering option. Pick the option that fits your workflow (see the options below), then click Save.
Numbering options
- Random 4 number — A four-digit randomly generated number.
- Pick Number — Requires start and end numbers for table assignment, along with an uploaded image.
- Last 4-digits of the phone number — Uses the last four digits of a customer's phone number (if enabled); otherwise it defaults to Random.
- Increasing numbers — Sequentially increasing numbers.
Notice: Changes to increasing numbers take effect the next day.
Tips
- Dine-In and To-go orders are configured separately, so you can use different numbering styles for each.
- Choose Increasing numbers for a simple, predictable call-out order, or Random 4 number to keep numbers from repeating too quickly during busy periods.
- If Pick Number is used, remember to set your start/end range and upload the required image.
Still need help? If your new numbering isn't showing after the next day, confirm your kiosk is on version 4.8.0 or higher, or contact INFI Support and we'll be glad to assist.
